In his role Ryan is responsible for integrating The Goldenberg Group’s social impact and environmental sustainability priorities with its myriad development and enterprise projects. An experienced social enterprise leader with a track record of growing projects to scale, Ryan has worked for over 20 years with a wide variety of non-profit, institutional, and corporate clients to develop impact metrics, generate revenue-driven programs, and deepen community partnerships.

Prior to joining The Goldenberg Group, Ryan served as the Executive Director of Greensgrow, a nationally recognized urban farm and education center in Philadelphia, and the first urban farm on a brownfield site in the US. He has also held leadership positions with the Urban Nutrition Initiative, Philadelphia Orchard Project, and Preston’s Paradise.

Ryan graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Urban Studies and Anthropology. He lives in the Mt. Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia with his family.
