COUNTYPRESSONLINE.COM, September 9, 2008 Haverford Reserve, the residential lifestyle community and park on Haverford-Darby Road will open its entrance and main road, Parkview Drive, on Sept. 19. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony 10 a.m. near Haverford Reserve’s entrance at 3500 Darby Road. Haverford Township Commissioners and representatives for the community’s developers will be on site to lead tours of the grounds. Haverford Reserve’s 209 acre site includes 120 acres of preserved parkland with rolling hills, streams and mature trees, walking and hiking trails and 45 acres of township recreation and playing fields. The community’s one-level condominiums and side-by-side carriage homes are designed to fulfill the Main Line’s increasing demand for maintenance-free living. Athertyn, the lifestyle condominium community with clubhouse, at Haverford Reserve, is being developed and built by The Pohlig Organization, of Malvern. Haverford Reserve/The Carriage Homes, a community of two-story, side-by-side homes at Haverford Reserve, is being developed by The Goldenberg Group, of Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, and built by Guidi Homes, also of Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.
