Hamilton Crossings is kicking off the holiday shopping season a little early with a special event featuring food, hot chocolate, live music, giveaways — and a chance to help those less fortunate in the Lehigh Valley.
The event will run 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton Crossings’ public gathering space near Shelby Restaurant.
The Lower Macungie Township shopping center and its developers are asking visitors to bring nonperishable food — peanut butter and jelly, canned goods, rice or other items — to be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank, which serves more than 60,000 residents monthly, according to a news release.
