Jared Mintz is a real estate development and investment specialist with over 25 years of experience. He had advised ultra-high net worth family offices on their real estate activities and overseen development and finance for large urban projects. Jared also created a private equity fund that invests into Qualified Opportunity Zones. After graduating from Wharton, he spent over two decades in Manhattan working in real estate private equity and debt. He has put together development deals in Philadelphia, New York, and Florida where he oversaw structuring debt and equity, assembling teams and partnerships, working on design, and devising strategy. His opportunity zone fund backs development projects across the country. Jared’s background in development and finance has allowed him to build up several property platforms with a focus on pioneering neighborhoods. Jared graduated from Johns Hopkins with a BA and spent two years at the Wharton School where he majored in real estate, received the Seevak Prize in real estate, and graduated with an MBA. Jared has served on several boards in the New York area including several through his work as real estate consultant with the Robin Hood Foundation.
