Mid Atlantic Real Estate Journal’s 2018 Best of Awards

The Mid Atlantic Real Estate Journal just published their 2018 Best of Awards and we are pleased to announce that The Goldenberg Group took home two wins in two separate categories! The winning categories were “Best of Giving Back” and “Best Student Housing Project,” for Vantage. This is the second consecutive win in both of these categories.

Shovels hit the ground at former St. Mary’s Villa in Upper Dublin

The Mattison Estate, a mixed-housing development first proposed five years ago on the 45.5-acre former St. Mary’s Villa at Bethlehem Pike and Lindenwold Terrace, is getting underway.

Site work has begun for 104 carriage homes and villas by Goldenberg Group and Guidi Homes, as well as a 250-unit senior living community through a joint venture of South Bay Partners Inc., Lamb Properties LLC and SageLife, which will manage the senior housing, according to news releases from the developers.

New housing development to get underway at St. Mary’s Villa in Upper Dublin

Two new housing developments will rise on land that had been used since the 1930s as St. Mary’s Villa for Children and Families, or simply “The Villa,” in Ambler.

After being in the works for five years, Goldenberg Group has acquired nearly 50 acres comprising the site and plans to break ground in the next few weeks on a new residential subdivision.

FOOD AND FUN: Canned Good Donation Festivals Launches it’s Inaugural Event Today in Allentown

The Second Harvest Food Bank of NEPA provides mass amounts of food to local food pantries for them to distribute. They help Shepherd House in Lehighton with donations.

The Can Jam Festival at the Hamilton Crossings Shopping Center in Allentown just launched today, and there’s a lot of fun for the kids and adults. The goal is to help Second Harvest collect canned goods by providing families with free food, prize wheels, back massages, and more as well as a signature drink at The Shelby.

The festival will be going from 10am to 4pm September 22nd featuring live music, karaoke, and open mic. Make sure to bring canned food donations!

Dress Down Day supports Philly schools and community

It’s officially Dress Down Day! So many people across the city are wearing their Dress Down Philly t-shirts! Fox 29 was at Anderson Elementary School this morning with their Principal, Donna Frisby-Greenwood from the FUND for the School District of Philadelphia, and The Goldenberg Group’s Ellen Lissy Rosenberg. This brilliant initiative not only raised $30,000 for schools across the city, but it ignited a conversation, giving this particular school a platform to ask folks to support their individual needs while the FUND provides, and will continue to provide, the vehicle for businesses and individuals to do so.

If you’re a parent of a Philadelphia school student, you’re probably reading this in the aftermath of the first day scramble. Hope it went well. If you’re not, well, congratulations on your bonus week of summer. But don’t get too comfy: Philly students need you.

We are in many ways on the upswing here, education-wise. That means we have a chance to really make a difference in learning and success for the thousands of young people who went back to school today or will in the coming days. The Goldenberg Group Tops Off $199 Million Student Housing Development Near Temple University

View II, designed by Niles Bolton Associates, will open in 2019 near Temple University in Philadelphia.

Philadelphia — The Goldenberg Group has topped off View II, a $199 million student housing development located near Temple University in Philadelphia.

Construction on the project began last fall. The 471,000-square-foot property will feature 984 beds within one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom units. Community amenities will include a 24-hour concierge; a coffee bar; fitness center with rooms for fitness on-demand, yoga and spin; an outdoor rooftop terrace; a social activities area; a business center; study and conference areas; a package locker system; sky lounge; indoor bicycle storage and on-site resident parking, including dedicated car sharing spaces and electric charging spaces.
